Principal's Message
Dear Students and Families,
It is my privilege to welcome you to another year at the School for Classics, a place where ancient wisdom meets modern aspiration, and where each student is known, valued, and challenged to become their best self.
When you walk through our doors, you join a community bound together by shared values and a common purpose: the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty through rigorous academic study and thoughtful character formation. Our curriculum is not simply about learning. It's about equipping our students with the tools of critical thinking, eloquent expression, and moral reasoning that have stood the test of time.
Every day, I am inspired by the curiosity in our classrooms, the camaraderie in our hallways, and the dedication of our faculty who pour themselves into knowing and nurturing each student. We believe that education is not merely preparation for college or career, though our students excel in both. Rather, it is preparation for a life well-lived—a life of purpose, virtue, and contribution to the common good.
To our families: thank you for entrusting us with your children and for partnering with us in this important work. To our students: we are proud of you and excited to see how you will grow this year. Together, we carry forward a tradition that has shaped minds and hearts for generations.
I look forward to seeing you at school.
With warmth and gratitude,
Nicole Tancredi
Principal, School for Classics
